My Reelity

I think the T610 is probably the worst fone I’d ever owned. Not only is it super unresponsive, its prone to many hang-ups as well, which makes using it a very frustrating experience. However, I have resisted upgrading it in the past because I was holding out on a phone that could do the following :-

1) Play video at 320×240 in either WMV or QT format
2) Have radio
3) Looks nice
4) Not bulky
5) Reasonable price

Don’t you just find handphones nowadays to be a tad overpriced? And as you can tell from my requirements for a new phone, my conditions are kinda hard to satisfy. So when a phone like the O2 Atom comes along, I was intrigued. I was actually considering the Nokia 6280 as well, but since that phone comes out only next year and as my T610 is already konking out on me, I decided to wait no further and took the plunge.

I’d figured the 6280 will prolly be only slightly cheaper than the Atom when it launches, and at that price a phone with pda functions is prolly more bang for my buck.

The really great thing about Eve is that I can now carry my videos around and shamelessly plug myself even more aggressively muahahahaha. So next time you see me, be afraid. Be very afraid. 😉

You know how nowadays bloggers at blogspot use word verification thingy to stop spammers from spamming their comments box? Well, today while commenting on duckie‘s blog, mine was “OMGYVK”.

I think quite true leh. At the very least it helps to explain my obsession in wanting to find the answers all the time. And its always comforting to know that if I don’t make it as an actor, I can be an evurl mastermind! Wahahaha!

It was a prizeless nite for us. We were, of course, disappointed but in the end I think we took it rather well. Coz at least this time round, we didn’t lose to a certain other film muahahahaha. 😛

Despite not winning anything, I was glad to find out that the short film has its supporters. Hearing the crowd laughing to the”langah” scene when the snippet was aired during the nominations, getting kudos from people who recognise me as the “langahed” guy, and peers in the industry coming up to tell me they liked it, yeah, these will be one of the fonder memories from tonight.

For those whom I cajoled, begged and strong-armed to vote for the film, thank you for voting. It may have been a prizeless night for me, but your support for me will always be priceless.

On another note, some of you have been puzzled over what the short film means and what it is really about. I’ll put up a proper synopsis and the video out shortly so watch this space hor.

Last but not least, thank you you Dave, for allowing me to be a part of this project. Its been a wild ride so far and its a pity it didn’t quite hit the crescendo we were hoping. But like I told you before, its one of the best scripts I’ve ever acted in and I hope you’ll continue to write such cool stuff. But eh next time give me some dialogue lah. And hawt snogging scenes too please. 😛

Last night, I was telling some frens how el cheapo here sometimes use the back of my precious iPod to check my make-up while out on a shoot. Some SickGuy who had joined us at our table remarked :

“So you must also drop your iPod on the floor often to peer up the skirts of girls?”

FYI, SickGuy, no one buys an iPod to drop it. Unless he’s sick, like you.
And if you have to resort to such things to get your fix, then you truly are sick and should seek help soon before you get yourslef into deep shit. (Even though being in deep shit may feel like home to you)

Even if you were joking, its a poor joke and it reflects very poorly on you.

Bah, where do they find these guys and why do they keep bothering me?
