Yesterday, I’ve finally finished shooting my first “A” role. My delivery of the lines I was struggling with wasn’t really as good as I hoped it will be, but the director seemed satisfied.
In fact, he was really much more friendlier to me this time round, which was a surprise as I thought he was quite upset with me the last time. Maybe he was in a Christmasy mood. We did finish the scene in record time and I guess I’m just glad my first outing as an “A” ended on a good note.
I can finally concentrate fully on the short film now.

The party was at X’s, whose abode, I realised much later as I was going back, was actually a stone’s throw away from my former home. Coming back to this area, where I have spent so many many years of my life will always invoke the dusty and gray memories of my past.
As a result, perhaps I was a little bit too melancholic at the party.
I so obviously suck at Taboo. Either that or perhaps I have had a drop too many. At one point, P almost strangled me to death for a particularly poor turn. In truth, I really didn’t mind dying in her arms. 😉 I did, however, make a conscious effort to sober up and did a particularly good turn to redeem myself. On hindsight, maybe I should have just did a lousier turn and have her strangle me again. 😛 Heh.
X was telling me I’m the kind that relies on script, so Taboo is so obviously not the game for me. I mean, how do you expect me to see words and not say them or act them out? Give me charades any time man.
X is right. I thrive on scripts, and the better the script, the better I perform. Alas, last night’s script did not include the lead getting the romantic interest’s number. Or pants for that matter.

On another note, my nick got mentioned a lot of times last night. And most of the times it wasn’t even addressed to me. Hehe.
