Among the nominated ones, who do you think deserves it?
I don’t get it either.
I saw the film on a flight; half the time, I had my face scrunched up at how so many great scenes in Internal Affairs had fallen completely flat by way of adaptation.
And the whole pacing of the film was just so clunky.
even with the lousy adaption, they can win an oscar!!
imagine if the great stuf gets to be made in hollywood and them ACTUALLY UNDERSTANDING it.
i heard someone said infernal affairs is a japanese film during the oscars presentations.
KM, I’ve not watched all of them, but I feel Letters or Little Miss Sunshine is worlds apart from the Departed. Heck, even Babel is a few cities apart.
