I found out today that chinese drama has bumped my grade from a “C” to a “B”.
After five long years. Heh.
This was kinda a surprise because its been ages since I did chinese drama. And I’ve kinda given up hope on them ever upgrading me. But while my grade is now “B”, I don’t think I can consider myself as a B-lister. Qiaoyun was telling me there’s an A grade and then an A+ grade after that. And getting that doesn’t necessarily makes you a B-lister as well, let alone an A-lister.
After they relayed the news, I took the opportunity to confirm something I felt was weird all along, which is how come my performances in production five don’t count for anything in production eight. The only explanation I got was that they are really two very different departments and was also given the analogy that they are “cousins” in a big family …errm, what the fark man?! -_-”
Anyway, having accepted one role under my new found status, I was soon offered another two more roles, just minutes later. Since these are not roles which I would get excited about, it kinda makes me wonder if they are just taking advantage of my joy at being upgraded and hence push these roles to me knowing that I’ll be obliged to accept them. :p But since I’m truly unemployed so far this month, I agreed to take them on.
Scraps for the stomach. Scraps for the soul. But better than nothing right?
so what does getting a B do for u? more money? more opportunity?
either way does that mean we be seeing u on tv more? 😛
Congratulations nonetheless 😀
monkey, yeah should be. But depends on whether I want to accept the roles or not.
Xena, Thanks! I need more Bless spell 😛
