High – James Blunt
(If your name’s Dawn, this song’s for you. 😉 )
I’m starting to realise what Qiaoyun (still so not use to calling her that) had meant when she was talking about post-production blues. I don’t think I’ve experienced any post production blues before (not that I can recall right away anyway), but I am feeling post stage production blues now.
It took me quite a while to realise that that was what I was feeling; reason being there were other things that were making me kinda blue as well. But I realised on Thursday that its been a week since I’ve last acted and that’s when it dawned on me – gee, I’ve been missing the acting all along.
I missed it so much, it’s like I’ve been on crack for weeks and am suddenly being forced to go cold turkey (ok, maybe I’m exaggerating :P).
I’ve never been hit by this so badly before; perhaps its because I’ve gotten used to the brevity of screen productions. Or, to put it more cruelly, I’ve never been fortunate enough to be involved in a long screen production. Four to five days shoots definitely cannot be compared to weeks of rehearsals and performance. And the busy schedule of doing boring work from next week onwards sure ain’t making this any easier on me.
It looks like I just got to rely on the scraps I get from my acting workshop to wean myself off. >.< I've just realised that I haven't posted any pictures from Short and Sweet. So here's the cast of "Who's Catherine Seah May Ann" and "Pure Sugar" respectively :
Was great working with you guys!
Well, now I’M suffering from no-production blues. Which is worse?
Could be the same depending on how bad your no-production blues are. But then again, you can wii it all away. 😛
